Toddler Travel Essentials for 2022

What better could it be for you than taking that long-awaited vacation with your family, especially with your kids, after the pandemic… right! But, you have to keep in mind that travelling solo or with your partner is fundamentally different from travelling with kids. You will have many more responsibilities and will have to be more careful than otherwise.

Like every other parent, we understand that you, too, would get collywobbles by the thought of getting things right. You need to have a proper count of clothes and accessories; a list of other sundries like food, snack containers, travel chair, blankets, etc., so that your kids don’t fall short of anything. Thus, making their travel comfortable and enjoyable.

If you are running out of ideas on what to carry, no worries! Here are a few travel essentials that you should pack in your kids' bag as they are all things practical, comfortable, and stylish.

1. Clothes- Every parent wants to see their kids in the most fashionable clothes and look the smartest. It holds true, even when you are on the road and travelling to places. But, while dressing up kids during travel, parents should keep in mind that besides style and comfort, another factor matters: the clothes should match the climate. There are times when the weather is often unpredictable. 

Plus, kids may indulge in different activities. So, it is preferable to pack some lightweight, appropriate clothes that are easy to carry and serve your purpose simultaneously. Below are a few clothing items that you ought to have in your kid’s travel bag.

a) Shorts- Your kid will want to wet her feet in the river or roll in the grass and get all muddy. In such a case, a pair of shorts will come in handy as this way, you will not have to worry about too much laundry, nor will your kid have any problem tossing around. 

b) Jeans- Jeans are a must-have for anyone and anywhere. You cannot step out of the house without this multi-purpose and versatile piece of clothing.

c) Sweat pants- You want your kid to feel cozy and comfortable all day long, and when it is their sleep time, comfort becomes all the more paramount. Get them into a pair of sweat pants to keep them warm, and you will be able to have a sound sleep as you won’t have to wake up every hour to check on them.

d) Dress- You never know when a party or event is coming up. Keeping a pretty dress with a matching headband and shoes will be good.

e) Jackets/hoodies- Since you never know when the cloud turns grey, it will be safe for you to keep a jacket/hoodie with you.

2. Accessories- As you all know, fashion is incomplete without the use of accessories. No matter how expensive your kid’s clothes are, the look will remain incomplete if you don’t accessorize. It is applicable for both boys and girls, but it makes a whole new difference in the case of girls. So, why not carry a small jewellery box for her, wherein you can keep a pair of the latest design kids’ earrings, a charm bracelet or maybe a pendant with an alphabet motif during the vacation.

3. Stroller- All parents would swear by this item. If you know someone who will soon be a new parent, gift them a stroller. You cannot imagine how happy you will make them. 

It is physically tiring and taxing to carry your baby while doing other chores; hence, a stroller can make your life a lot easier.

4. Travel toys/cycle- Kids love toys and taking along your journey, a few of their favorite toys will give you some space and time to enjoy and relax. It will keep them busy and happy; which will save you some time from a whining baby.
