Trends Trending in 2022

Living through a global pandemic over several years resembles what we may have envisioned. But now that the world is starting to open up, we're dazzling the walls (quite literally, if you've been following interior design trends) with the festive joy of our newly discovered freedom after returning to the outside. This excitement extends to the world of fashion as well, and the year 2022 is full of fashion trends that are, shall we say, ever-so-daring. Fast fashion is more prevalent than ever, making it challenging to keep up with trends that appear to change quickly.

The Indian Institute of Art and Design claims that 2022 is a somewhat unoriginal year because it has spent the majority of its time referencing other decades, eras, and pop cultural moments. Even then, it makes sense to consider that we spent more than two years primarily indoors and hence lacked the opportunity to test fresh and avant-garde fashion concepts. We have to give the fashion industry a little leeway since our attention was on healing, reestablishing, and relearning.

Fashion has been making a comeback by representing our contemporary lifestyles in light of everything that has occurred over the past couple of years, and it's here to grab your attention in 2022. Although there are many influences from earlier decades, we are not yet looking back on all of them. In fact, there are a few trends that 2022 won't be eager to welcome back.

Slay your Skin fits: Skinny Jeans

We say sorry, but according to 2022, you won't need your favourite pair of thin jeans soon. 2022 is the year of all things loose-fitted, and jeans are no exception. Statistics show that searches for baggy jeans increased by 38% in 2022. Indeed, many consignment shops no longer even take slim jeans.

Killer Skirt and deadly legs- Midi Skirts

There is no in-between for skirts; this summer has clarified that. A decent mini is appreciable for someone who is only 5-foot-3; it makes your legs look longer than they actually are. The micro miniskirt style ruled the world of fashion during the summer. In fact, this might be the case because midis, one of the reasons they're out of fashion now, can actually make a person look shorter.

Camo in my mind: Camouflage print

Camouflage print was highly popular in 2017, but it seems to work well with neutral colours this year. In this regard, the animal print and camouflage print "are excellent non-print prints that operate as a neutral. It adds interest without being dominating." In the end, 2022 is all about dominating, and camouflage might not convey this message in the way some may desire.

Bold in cold Shoulder: Cold shoulder Tops

What are fashion experts saying this year about cold-shoulder tops? "Long many ladies still adore these, the style has been around for a while and is simply beginning to seem a touch stale." More than ever, fashion is about fun; therefore, try out riskier choices. Pair it with your favourite Neck-band you never know what might make you fall in love. Instead of these loose-fitting tops, why not choose something structured?

Tune in your Tunics: Tunic Tops

Although big shirts are popular this year, the style and shape matter, simply put, tunics won't be popular in 2022; instead, crop tops that support body positivity are hot right now. We adore the fact that crop tops can be worn with any style of clothing and look beautiful on any body type.

Pull off your Peplum: Peplum tops.

You might be thinking about the love-it-or-hate-it peplum trend we put behind us in the previous decade, given that styles from the 2010s are making a comeback in 2020 (for example, colour-blocking). Even while peplums are taking their time to return to the cycle and won't be back in full force in 2022, we might start to see them quietly creeping in. Although peplum is currently out of style, there is much to be said about how traditionally, ladies have used it to give themselves an hourglass figure.

High on heels: High Heels

A beautiful heel will gever go out of style, but that doesn't always mean they're in style. Platforms are still popular in 2022, and thick soles and colourful, beaded ballet flats rule the day. ITheplatform was the main focus of [Summer 2022], and I'm all for it! Don't be afraid to wear the newest styles and leave your early pandemic favourites behind the next time you're out.

Well 2022 is getting better with days and lets gear up for some new taste of fashion in the upcoming year.
